HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO MIKE, UNCLE JEREMY, UNCLE JASON, UNCLE ERIC, AND PAPA!

I know it is a little bit late but Rayn didn't get to see her dad until yesterday to celebrate Father's Day. She was sooooo excited to see him after not seeing him for approximately 12 days! They played, played, and played when she got home from the Ozarks with her mommy's family.

So a long story short I couldn't post what Rayn gave her dad for Father's Day until he was able to see it! So...below, is a video I made for Rayn to give to her dad for Father's Day. It was a video of her first year. You can check it out by going to this website. http://www.jessicagreen06.mediashare.com/ and clicking on first movie. It is about five minutes long so I hope that you enjoy! If you want to watch it in a bigger format, click on full screen. To get out of full screen mode, click Escape on your keyboard! ENJOY!

Also, you can check out her newest photos on the website: www.thagrind.com/rayn0610. Rayn decided to be a model that day and it was so adorable watching her pose for all of her beautiful photos! How am I going to choose?

All of the photos on this post are some photos that I took of the Father's Day fun, with my new camera!!! :) We had Father's Day at our house  with my dad, Uncle Eric, and Uncle Jason (it was his first Father's Day). YAY!

I would first like to say thank you to my dad (Papa Mike) for being a wonderful father to me while growing up, a wonderful PaPa to Rayn, and for always being a wonderful role model to all of us.

Rayn's Dad, Mike, is the best father to Rayn that any person could ever be! We are blessed to have such a wonderful family to always enjoy each and every holiday with!

Aunt Danielle's Wedding

This weekend, we all went to Nebraska because Rayn's Aunt Danielle was getting married to her new Uncle Dan. It was an eight hour drive to Bellevue, Nebraska and Rayn only slept 25 minutes on the way there. Despite the lack of sleep, Rayn was excellent in the car!

We get to Grandpa and Grandma Lentsch's house and she was so excited to get out there and walked into their house like she owned the place! She is too funny now. She had to walk around and check every room out and once she did that she was ready to be in destructive mode! That evening Rayn finally got to meet her seven year old cousin, Chandler! Chandler and Rayn actually resemble each other a little bit!
Aunt Danielle's wedding day quickly came on Saturday. Aunt Danielle got up extra early so she could make time to play with Rayn before she had to go begin the craziness of her wedding day. Rayn had so much fun with her in the morning. We get to the church for the family pictures and alls Rayn wants to do during the family picture is pick the wax out of her dad's ear! (We thought that this was too funny!!!)

We barely made it through the wedding because we wanted to run around the whole church like we had been doing the whole two three hours before that. Once the reception came, she was so excited. Mommy and daddy let her have her first Sprite and Rayn was so wound up on sugar, it was unbelieveable. Rayn was definitely attempting to steal the show from her Aunt Danielle. (She definitely wasn't doing it intentionally!) But, how can you resist an adorable little girl running around and smiling and giggling at any and everything she sees? You can't, that is just it! She stole the show because she was so cute and because alls she wanted to do was push around her booster seat throughout the whole reception hall (see picture above with Grandpa Lentsch) and sit down in it where ever she wanted. Oh man, was it hilarious! She was a busy bee pushing around her booster seat, as well as dancing on the dance floor. Then, out of nowhere, Rayn  just fell asleep in mommy's arm on the dance floor. So, we went upstairs to bed!
Thank you, Aunt Danielle and Uncle Dan for letting us all share and enjoy your special day with you! We had a wonderful time!

Rayn's Many Firsts

Over Memorial Day weekend, we all went to Louisville to visit, Aunt Jaime, Uncle Jeremy, Allie, and Benson. During Rayn's time spent at Louisville, she had many first time experiences.  Going to Louisville, was her first long car ride and was going to be her first slumber party ever! The first night of the slumber party did not go so well but after that, it went just fine.
On Saturday, Rayn had her first experience in the sandbox, she was not too sure of the whole feeling of the sand at first, but once she got used to it she thought it tasted pretty good! I think she enjoyed dumping the sand in Uncle Jeremy's yard while he was mowing the lawn than she did anything else. Another one of her favorite's was too eat it! Rayn, Benson, and Allie all enjoyed playing in the sand together.  On this day also we had our first experience going swimming in a big pool. Once she got used to the temperature of the water and Aunt Jaime gave her some toys she was absolutely ecstatic! She loved it! Saturday was a very exhausting day for me!
On Sunday, Benson and Allie made Rayn some brownies so she could have her first brownie ever with them! Her mommy was more excited to give it to her, but was definitely disappointed by the result. The first bite for Rayn was very exciting; however, she was not interested after that. :( Also, on Sunday, Allie, Rayn, Aunt Jaime, and mommy had a girl party. Allie and Rayn put on dresses and got their hair done and they went outside and they had a photo shoot together with Aunt Jaime. They were soo cute together! You can click on this link to see the pictures of Allie and Rayn's photoshoot. http://www.pgandj.smug.com/ (Once you are there, you can click on "Rayn's visit).
Despite Allie and Benson trying to decide who Rayn belonged to (they kept saying to each other, "She's my Rayn, no she's my Rayn), she had a blast with her cousins. Allie was kind enough to share her dolls, kitchen set, and toys with Rayn. Benson even let her play with some of his tractors, the ones that made noise were definitely Rayn's favorites. Overall, we all had a nice relaxing and enjoyable time with each other!
